Verity’s teaching combines her own experiences as a classical cellist with her personal interest in folk music. Her work with children is inspired by the work of ethnomusicologist and master teacher, Zoltán Kodály . Lessons are adapted as needed and designed to match home practice commitment and family expectations. Verity's approach to all lessons and classes is process oriented and is rooted in the belief that good musicianship cultivates great achievement.
RCM exam preparation available upon request.

PREPARATORY PRIVATE STRINGS LESSON (ages 2-5)
A unique, child-led approach designed to get children playing and keep them playing.
Foundational bow and left hand technique, age appropriate musicianship, musical literacy and playful creativity.
$25/ 15 minutes

Fee structure is group specific.
There is a $50 registration fee for new students and fees are due in full for the term at the time of registration.
Fiddlesticks offers adapted placements for children that may require more flexibility or continuity.
Fiddlesticks offers several full and partial financial need bursary placements each term.
